Sophia Menna graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a research focus in neuroscience. While at UVA, she investigated the underlying mechanism of glioblastoma invasion in murine models. She joined the Hopper Belmont team in June 2024 and has enjoyed collaborating with the organization’s leadership. Sophia is a research technician at UVA Health and plans to take two gap years before applying to Ph.D. programs.
